Mr. Raul M. Irlanda Retains CFM Certification For Another 3 Years.

Mr. Raul M. Irlanda

APMC Prexy Raul M. Irlanda may continue using the designation Certified Facility Manager. After a series of careful and rigorous review of the certification maintenance requirements, IFMA (International Facility Management Assoiation) has approved Raul's use of the CFM designation for 2005 to 2008 another career capping triumph since 2002. This now moves the profession into higher ranks within the organizations that APMC is serving--gaining more control of facility functions. APMC strives to be tenacious enough to keep skills sharp year after year.

Inorder to keep the CFM title, a comprehensive report has to be submitted detailing the summary of experiences, activities and involvement in the facility management profession every 3 years. IFMA's (International Facility Management Assoiation) CFM program based in Texas is the only globally accepted standard for the facilities management profession. It began in 1992 and only around 3,500 facility managers from 25 countries have achieved this prestigious recognition.
