MACEA, APMC and Barangays Collaborate in Successful Makati CBD Estate-Wide Drill

APMC Estates Management and Safety Group through the Makati Central Estate Association (MACEA) and Ayala Center Estate Association (ACEA), successfully conducted an estate-wide evacuation drill today in the Makati Central Business District. In coordination with barangays Bel-air, San Lorenzo, and Urdaneta, the exercise saw the smooth evacuation of more than 18,000 individuals from 119 buildings.

A command post was established at the Legazpi Car Park beside the MACEA headquarters to manage the operation. The drill also received support from Ayala Land, Inc. subsidiaries, including the Makati Development Corporation (MDC).

Highlighting the importance of emergency preparedness, APMC’s management of MACEA ensures that regular drills are conducted to improve readiness and coordination. These exercises are crucial for enhancing the community’s ability to respond effectively in real emergencies, promoting overall safety and resilience.
