Over 200 APMC-Managed Properties Join Earth Hour 2024

On Saturday, March 23, 2024, APMC–managed properties nationwide once again demonstrated their commitment to environmental responsibility by actively participating in Earth Hour. This global movement, embraced by millions, involves powering down non-essential lights for an hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 pm local time.

This year, an impressive 214 properties joined the initiative, collectively turning off 177,466 lights. This resulted in significant energy savings of about 39,000 kWh and a reduction of approximately 30.42 tons of CO2 emissions – equivalent to planting around 1,430 mature trees. These figures underscore APMC’s enduring dedication to environmental stewardship.

In residential communities, property managers encouraged residents to embrace Earth Hour by dimming common areas and powering down unnecessary lights and appliances. This not only conserved energy but also sparked discussions on sustainable living practices among residents.

Beyond Earth Hour, APMC continues its unwavering commitment to sustainability. They actively promote a circular economy for waste management, collaborating with partners like Integrated Waste Management to ensure responsible disposal practices and minimize environmental impact.
